At KINDRED FLOW, we believe yoga can be a gateway toward greater wellness, and we honor the importance of uniting body, mind, and spirit through movement and breath. In doing so, we can enter "the flow state" and ultimately find stillness, which is especially important for our modern lives.
Through weekly classes, special events, workshops, and multi-week series we provide a variety of opportunities for you to deepen your knowledge, awareness, and practice.
We recognize that each individual has their own, unique path to follow, just as a river finds its own course flowing to the sea. Our teachers believe in modifications to help you find the appropriate movement for your body in any given pose at any given moment.

We are meant to support one another through times of shadow and struggle. Like water molecules, we are not meant to make this journey alone.
So let's connect: Check out our classes, our professionally trained instructors, and find what works best for you. We look forward to breathing, moving, being, and growing with you: one breath, one step at a time.

Our Story
Kara Garrod first stepped onto a yoga mat in January 2008 at a little studio in Wyoming, Ohio called The Edge. Some of you might remember it as fondly as I do.
Since then she has attended many styles of classes led by a variety of teachers, seeking additional information, guidance, and inspiration. She is an E-RYT 200 and a Registered Childrens Yoga Teacher (RCYT), and on the home stretch toward completing her RYT 300 at It's Yoga Cincinnati and her Yoga Health Coach certification through Cate Stillman.
Since April 2018, Kara has taught over 1400 hours of yoga, and spent countless more hours practicing on her mat in her living room, on her back deck, and at various studios in and out of town.

Unfortunately, when she moved back home to Wyoming, that little studio no longer existed.
So many of her friends, neighbors, and clients asked the same question:
Why isn't there a yoga studio here?

Kindred Flow Yoga + Wellness is the answer to that refrain.
